All garden building prices are inclusive of delivery and installation.
We also offer delivery only of our fencing materials such as panels and trellis. Please note this is kerbside delivery only, and is reflective of the price.
Any order placed online will require full payment up front.
Any bespoke orders made over the phone or in-store will require a minimum 50% deposit, with the outstanding balance due 2 weeks prior to the day of delivery.
Please note this deposit is non-refundable.
All domestic work includes VAT.
Clear unrestricted access (height and width) is required for any materials to be delivered and installed. We are unable to carry sections over roofs, fences, walls etc unless pre-arranged at which point a further charge may be incurred.
If upon arrival access is still restricted, or if the base is not suitable, then all sections will be left at the front of the property with fixing kits for self assembly. A minimum charge of £60 will be incurred should you request our installers to return.
If no-one is present at the time of delivery, the goods will be returned to our workshop, and a minimum of £85 will be charged for redelivery.
A firm level base is required before any building can be erected. It will need to cover the entire floor area of the shed. Concrete slabs or a timber frame base are both viable options. Advice and quotes can be given if required, contact us at 0121 420 1521 for more information.
Rutland Sheds are installing your base, we will be in touch to provide a suitable date prior to your building being installed and delivered.
Most models allow for change of window and door placement, however this is dependant on the size of shed you order. Get in touch if you have specific requirements and we will do our best to help. We also offer the option for no windows (if you prefer).
No, the treatment we offer is an optional extra, we offer 2 types of treatment a water based and a solvent based preservative (Cuprinol or Ronseal). If treatment is not required by the customer then the floor and roof will be dipped in a water based treatment as standard with the side sections remaining untreated.

You will qualify for free delivery and installation of a building if you live within 20 miles of our factory in Smethwick have no height or width restrictions and there is a firm level base for the building to be erected on.

A delivery charge of £4 per mile will be made according to your postcode. The first 20 miles are still free, so if you lived 30 miles away, we would only charge 10 (miles) x 4 (GBP) = £40.

Delivery is normally 2-3 weeks for standard garden buildings. Bespoke designs can take up to 2-3 weeks. A firm delivery date will be given once the order has been placed and processed. Please contact us before ordering for a more specific timeframe (dependant on season).
Yes, either you or a representative will need to be at the delivery address to accept and inspect your order.
All buildings are delivered and erected at the same time provided there is a firm level base and no access restrictions.
In most cases if a building is under 30sqm then planning permission is not required. Please contact your own council for further advice.
All buildings carry a 12 month statutory rights guarantee by law. If your building is treated every year with a suitable preservative and is on a firm level base there is no reason why your building should not last for many years.
